Job Description

A Geology Teacher is responsible for planning and delivering geology lessons in accordance with the Cameroonian school curriculum. The teacher teaches topics such as rocks and minerals, Earth structure, plate tectonics, fossils, geological processes, natural resources, and environmental geology. They conduct practical and field-based activities, teach students how to observe and interpret geological materials and maps, assess students’ knowledge and practical skills, and prepare them for examinations. The teacher also promotes scientific thinking, environmental awareness, and safe practices during laboratory and field activities.
